Folder Permission in the Cloud

Cloud Storage is good for team collaboration. Just like in the LAN environment, you have a NAS device that everyone local to the network can share. Or like a Windows File Server that everyone local to the network can share and the file server can setup folder permission inside the network share.

So team collaboration comes with folder permission. When team collaboration is done through cloud storage, folder permission will need to be implemented with the team collaboration solution.

Gladinet Cloud Team Folders

In Gladinet Cloud web portal, you can create team folders.

Gladinet Cloud Users

You can also create users from Gladinet Cloud web portal.

Create Team Folder

You can create a new team folder or turn any existing folder into a team folder.

As shown in the create team folder dialog, you can add users to it.

Add Folder Permissions

Once you are inside the created folder, on the right side panel, there is a permissions link you can use to set permissions on folders.

This way, you can assign users to the team folder, and also assign folder permissions inside a team folder.
