CentreStack transforms traditional file servers into cloud file servers

CentreStack has allowed mobile users to access files and folders in whatever native file browser they were using on their device for some time. In our December 17, 2017 update, we enhanced the way you view and navigate shared files, taking advantage of your device’s native resolution and features. Gladinet Cloud Enterprise in the past has been supporting the regular Microsoft Network Share. The use case is to give online access, mobile access and remote access to Microsoft network shares, over web browser, iOS and Android devices and from remote locations. The Microsoft DFS Share is a little bit different from the regular Microsoft Network Share in that it needs an additional step to translate the distributed file system share into a regular network share. When people talks about hybrid cloud storage solution, it typically means they want to keep using the existing file server. Last Week, the Gladinet Cloud iPhone & iPad application was updated to version 2.0. It is an important milestone of Gladinet Cloud. The native iOS application not only allow Gladinet Cloud users easily browse and view their files and folders in the Gladinet Cloud, but also allow users to do offline reading, send and share files and folders directly from the iOS device. It also has better local application integration so it is easier to open documents and view it in the iOS device.
